| Areas of special interest | I have a special interest in the area of attachment and developmental trauma/relational trauma. I have been working with children and families who are involved with child protection and welfare services, children in care and their foster families for over 13 years. My practice is framed by an attachment perspective and influenced fundamentally by Bronfenbrenner’s ecological systems theory and the belief that you cannot work with the child in isolation. I am a humanistic and integrative play and psychotherapist and believe wholly that given the right conditions, children and families can overcome obstacles and thrive. |
