The Irish Association of Play Therapy & Psychotherapy is a professional body for Play Therapists & Psychotherapists in Ireland. Our aim is to define, promote and maintain professional standards of excellence in Play Therapy & Psychotherapy. Our work promotes best practice and the development of the profession as well as safeguarding the public.

IAPTP represent the interests of both client and Therapist in the field of Play Therapy & Psychotherapy in Ireland. A key function is to provide a link between those who are looking for Play Therapy/Psychotherapy and those who provide Play Therapy/Psychotherapy to the highest professional standards. I

We also set and maintain practice and training standards and represent Play Therapy/Psychotherapy at both national and international level.
